Serena Honeycutt - Missionary to Haiti

      Serena has received a calling from the Lord to serve Him in Haiti through medical missions.

      Shortly after her first short-term mission trip to Cap-Haitien, Haiti in 2009 she felt a call to return. The following year, shortly after the earthquake, she returned to that barren, impoverished land in the city of Port-au-Prince with a medical mission group. It was that time of serving as a nurse within the medical mission team that God's call became clear to her.

     God's call on her life to share the Gospel in assisting church plants through medical missions was answered in January 2011. It was at that time that she completely surrendered everything to God's call and His purpose on her life.

     The target date for Serena to be in the country of Haiti is January 2012. God has been faithfully revealing His purpose and plan for her service in Haiti to her, through His word. Serena has received Scriptural confirmation of her call and assurance for protection and provision which has led her to a state of excited peace. As she returns to Haiti, she asks for prayer warriors to commit to praying that she may stand strong against the attack of the spirits of that land.

     Serena's monthly financial need is $2,000.00, which will cover living expenses, transportation and supplies for assisting church plants through medical missions. Serena is certain that God will supply twelve months' financial need prior to her departure in January 2012. Mark 10:27 says, "And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible".
